Support my artwork and research. Grow the circle.

Modern Patronage

I am creating an ecosystem of support. A form of modern patronage that is complimentary to my work and forms and circle of exchange with those directly impacted by my art.

By joining the Quiet Patron Circle, you become part of the nexus of support that enables me to continue my work. This can come in many forms: simply reading my emails, sending me stories or voice notes, attending my groups or workshops, donating fabric scraps, lending me space to exhibit or work, recommending books. All of these actions are vital to my practice.

Some patrons choose a more traditional route of direct financial support through one-off or monthly donations which are always invested directly into my studio work and research.

Love & Threads

Early in 2025, I left Instagram and spent some time reflecting quietly on a more authentic way for me to communicate my artist life with my audience.

From this time of reflection, I realised that my favourite way to communicate is through voice note. So Love & Threads was born.

Love & Threads is a semi-regular email I send out to those who have directly expressed an interest in hearing about my work as an artist. Through voice notes, images and reflective writing, I share my current threads of enquiry, research and artistic development.

Patronage FAQs

What does becoming a patron mean?

Becoming a patron means actively supporting the continued development of my artwork and research. As a patron, you believe that my work is important or impactful to you personally or others, and want to contribute to the continuation of that work.

How can I support you?

You can support me in many ways. The traditional way is through financial contributions, either one-off or monthly donations. However, as part of my modern patronage ecosystem, I would consider all of the following to be patron support:

  • Engaging with my work and research through my mailing list

  • Sharing my work with others

  • Attending workshops, groups sessions, exhibitions or events

  • Donating materials such as scrap fabrics which I can use to create more art

  • Donating space for group sessions, exhibitions or large project work

  • Inviting me to work with you or your organisation

  • Inviting me to speak at events or hosting my work for public display

(This list is not exhaustive and as my work evolves, support may change over time)

What benefits do patrons receive?

Patrons receive updates about my work as well as priority invitations to events and participatory sessions. Any patron who chooses to gift financial contributions to my work will receive updates about how the money is spent and how it has furthered my work.

Can I cancel my support?

Yes, you can cancel your support at any time without any penalties or obligations. If you choose to send financial support, I send you a 'Letter of Understanding' which lays out clearly the boundaries of this arrangement and you can discontinue your support at any time.

How do I contact you?

You can contact me through the contact form on my website or email me directly with the details below.
