'Moments' series

Currently an ongoing process developing portraits of intimate and personal moments from women's lives. The women in these portraits filmed a short video themselves and I take a still image from these videos. They were asked to choose a moment where they felt completely themselves and comfortable in their surroundings.

Acrylic Paintings

Most of these artworks were completed in a self-led residency I completed in September 2023. By myself for a whole week with just my paints and the dog, I had a week of really intense self-reflection. I came away with 4 self-portraits and some of the best work I have done to date. King Flo was started in that week but then completed later on in my studio.

All of these works are acrylic and ink on canvas, finished with a gloss varnish.
